​Infant Program

 

Our great places for babies program is designed to provide a warm, welcoming environment where your baby can thrive and grow from a bundle of joy to a bundle of curiosity. With our emphasis on creating a loving, healthy, and safe place for your child to feel secure, your baby’s primary caregiver is a nurturing child development professional who is responsible for your baby’s prime times: those critical one-to-one moments of caring, play, and communication.

 

Our space is built for babies on the move: look for bright mirrors, warm rugs, sensory tables, great books, and baskets filled with soft, natural materials. There are musical instruments, toys for pretend play, safe equipment, and outdoor places to explore. You’ll have peace of mind knowing that our stringent safety, security, and cleanliness standards meet or exceed all state and local guidelines.

Even these youngest of children are encouraged to learn about their world through our individualized curriculum that invites exploration, celebrates each important milestone, and supports the transition from the sensory motor world of infancy to the increasingly social and self-directed world of toddlers.

 

Breakfast is served in a few different ways, depending on the child, either a bottle; jar food or table food is served. Free play time is where we allow the babies to explore the class room in a fun but safe way; they are able to roll around and try to learn to creep or walk given the aid of push toys and teachers. During story time, teachers read books that have bright pictures.

 

Toddler Program

 

The growing world of toddlers , a place for growing curious, happy and confident toddlers, Our program uses hands-on exploration and social interaction to help your child learn about the world in a safe and engaging environment. Through the guidance of our experienced teachers, toddlers succeed in a program designed to meet their individual ages and stages. Learning experiences are planned to promote the toddler's growing independence, to enhance social skills, and to build the confidence needed to reach their individual potential and prepare for preschool and beyond.

 

Our space is built for active and inquisitive toddlers with environments made up of well-planned learning centers that allow for physical activity, child choice and self-directed play, small groups, and supportive teaching. There are reading nooks, sensory tables, great books, pretend play areas, baskets filled with dress-up and exploratory materials, musical instruments, and outdoor places to explore. Learning experiences are planned to promote each toddler’s growing independence, to enhance social skills, and to build the confidence needed to reach their individual potential and prepare for preschool and beyond.

 

Our innovative approach to teaching is based on the power of music and encouraging creativity. At San Diego Brighter Daycare, we introduce a subject via music, singing and dancing. Once we have built the child’s familiarity and confidence with the subject, we move on to using worksheets, fun activities, coloring and games to reinforce the learning process.  The following subjects are covered in our curriculum.
